In a recent survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, 40 percent of respondents cited the internet as a main source of news about national and international issues. Thirty-five percent cited newspapers as a main source. According to the survey, TV eclipses all other sources at 70 percent, but for people younger than 30, equal percentages cite TV and the internet as their source for national and international news.
